MEET OUR MASCOTS
Say hello to Samantha and Melvin. They're the mascots here at Little Spirits Bay Area Inc, but they're much more than that. They're our inspiration.
Their smiling faces brighten up every where they go. They weren't always this way. Before they met at Little Spirits, they were withdrawn, struggling and misunderstood.
Their story began in the bustling city of New York. They were both dealing with the challenges of their special needs. Samantha with ADHD and Melvin with autism. Both their parents searched for just the right place for help. This search brought them to Little Spirits in New York City. There they found support, understanding and real solutions. And they found each other too! Samantha and Melvin helped each other with their own difficulties and shared the joy and fun of doing and learning new things. They became the best of friends at Little Spirits! Having a best friend was something Melvin’s parents had been told would never happen. Boy was that wrong.
Now they’re both doing so well and they’ve come to San Jose to share their friendship and smiles with Little Spirits Bay Area Inc. We are so happy to have them here. If you’d like to discover what your child can do, we’d love to hear from you. Samantha and Melvin would love to put a smile on your face too!
